Liz

Co- Founder and Managing Director

Hi, I am the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Compassion Plus Healthcare Ltd, a CQC-registered health and social care organisation providing person-centred homecare, supported living and community-based support services.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an MSc in Occupational Psychology and a BSc in Psychology. My clinical background, combined with my experience in leadership and psychology, has shaped my approach to care and my belief that truly good support must always start with the individual.

I co-founded Compassion Plus Healthcare in 2014 with a simple but important vision: to provide compassionate, high-quality care that enables people to live fulfilling lives with dignity, choice and greater independence. I believe that every individual is unique, and that their individuality, strengths, aspirations and choices should be recognised and celebrated.

Over the years, I have been privileged to lead the growth and development of Compassion Plus Healthcare while remaining focused on what matters most — the people we support. For me, success is not measured simply by organisational growth or the awards we receive, but by the difference we make in people’s everyday lives: the smiles we bring to people’s faces, the confidence we help build and the outcomes we support people to achieve.

I remain closely involved in the clinical and strategic direction of the organisation and am passionate about working collaboratively with the people we support, their families, our staff, health and social care professionals and commissioners to continually improve the quality of the services we provide.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that every person is unique, and great care should recognise, respect and celebrate that individuality.

Simbarashe

Co-Founder & Finance Director

Hi, my name is Simba, and I am the Co-Founder and Finance Director of Compassion Plus Healthcare Ltd.

I co-founded Compassion Plus Healthcare in 2014 with a shared vision of building an organisation that delivers high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care while remaining financially strong, sustainable and able to grow alongside the needs of the people we support.

As Finance Director, I oversee the financial management and strategic planning of the organisation. My role includes ensuring that we maintain strong financial governance, use our resources responsibly and make sound financial decisions that support both the quality and long-term sustainability of our services.

Since establishing Compassion Plus Healthcare, I have been proud to see the organisation grow and develop. Behind that growth has always been a commitment to ensuring that our resources are directed towards what matters most — providing excellent care, investing in our workforce and creating opportunities for the people we support to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

I work closely with the Managing Director and wider management team to support the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring that our ambitions for growth are balanced with responsible financial management and a continued commitment to quality.

For me, being part of Compassion Plus Healthcare is about much more than finance. It is about contributing to an organisation that makes a positive and lasting difference in people’s lives and helping to build a strong and sustainable future for the people we support, our staff and the communities we serve.

Vickie

Supported Living Manager

Hi, my name is Vickie, and I am the Supported Living Manager at Compassion Plus Healthcare.

I have worked in health and social care for nearly 15 years and remain as passionate about supporting people today as I was when I first started my career. I began working in residential care before discovering supported living, where I found my true passion for empowering people to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals.

As I developed in my career, I gained further qualifications and progressed into management so that I could make an even greater difference to the lives of the people we support and the teams who care for them. I am committed to ensuring that every person receives high-quality, person-centred support that respects their choices, promotes their independence, and helps them live fulfilling lives.

At Compassion Plus Healthcare, I am proud to lead a dedicated team that shares my belief that every individual should be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Seeing people grow in confidence, achieve their aspirations, and enjoy the best possible quality of life is the most rewarding part of my role.

Shalom

Care coordinator and Training Manager

Hello, my name is Shalom, and I am a Care Coordinator at Compassion Plus Healthcare, with responsibility for Training and Community Support.

I have been part of the Compassion Plus Healthcare family for over three years, and I genuinely enjoy the variety my role brings which help to ensure our team has everything they need to provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

One of the things I am most passionate about is training. I believe that when staff feel confident, well supported, and have the right skills, they can provide the very best care to the people we support. I love helping our team learn and develop because I know it makes a real difference to the quality of care we deliver every day.

The best part of my job is spending time with the people we support and seeing them achieve things that matter to them, whether it’s becoming more independent, building confidence, or simply enjoying life. Knowing that I have played a small part in that journey is incredibly rewarding.

I also feel very lucky to work alongside such a caring and supportive team. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive difference, and I’m proud to be part of Compassion Plus Healthcare.

Nancy

Operations Manager

Hi, my name is Nancy, I joined Compassion Plus Healthcare in April 2026 as an Operations Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience within the care sector. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive knowledge in service delivery, workforce management, quality assurance, safeguarding, care planning, and continuous service improvement.

In my current role, I am committed to ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. I work collaboratively with care teams, service users, families, and partner agencies to promote high standards of care, support staff development, and encourage a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous learning.

Joining a new company has been a positive and rewarding experience. It has given me the opportunity to bring my experience in Health and Social Care while also learning new ways of working, meeting new people and becoming part of a different team and culture.

Anaishe

Team Administrator and Finance Assistant

Hi, my name is Anaishe, and I have been part of the Compassion Plus Healthcare team since 2023. I work as a Team Administrator and Finance Assistant, supporting the day-to-day running of the organisation and helping to ensure that things work smoothly behind the scenes.

I enjoy being part of a busy and supportive team and working with colleagues across the organisation. My role involves a variety of administrative and finance responsibilities, and I take pride in being organised, approachable and always willing to help.

What I enjoy most about working at Compassion Plus Healthcare is knowing that, although my role is mainly office-based, the work I do contributes to the quality of care and support we provide. Every part of the organisation has a role to play in making sure the people we support receive a reliable and high-quality service.

I am proud to be part of a team where people genuinely care about what they do, and I look forward to continuing to grow and develop within Compassion Plus Healthcare.

Florence

Care coordinator, Home Care services

Hi, my name is Florence, and I have been part of the Compassion Plus Healthcare team since 2023. I joined the organisation as a Care Worker and have had the opportunity to progress to Team Leader and, more recently, to my current role as a Care Coordinator within our Home Care Services.

I am passionate about delivering person-centred care and ensuring that the people we support are actively involved in decisions about their care. I believe in empowering people to achieve their goals, maintain their independence and enjoy the best possible quality of life.

As a Care Coordinator, I support our staff to provide high-quality care while also helping them to develop their skills and confidence. I am proud to work alongside such a compassionate and committed team who share the same desire to make a positive difference every day.

I also enjoy working closely with families, professionals and other partners to ensure that the support we provide considers the whole person and their individual needs.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the positive difference we can make — not only in the lives of the people we support, but also in the growth and development of our staff.

Bianca

Recruitment Manager

Hi, my name is Bianca, and I am the Recruitment Manager at Compassion Plus Healthcare.

Although I have only been part of the Compassion Plus Healthcare family since March 2026, it has already been an incredibly rewarding experience. Since joining the team, I have focused on ensuring that all staff records and files are fully compliant, helping to maintain the high standards expected within the care sector and supporting the organisation’s commitment to quality care.

I enjoy being part of a service that places compassion, dignity, and person-centred care at the heart of everything it does. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation has given me a great understanding of the importance of having the right people, systems, and processes in place to support both our staff and the people we care for.

As Recruitment Manager, I am excited about the opportunity to attract and recruit talented individuals who share our values and passion for making a difference. I believe that great care starts with great people, and I look forward to building a strong workforce that will continue to deliver exceptional support to those who rely on our services.

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is connecting with people and helping them take the next step in their careers. In the future, I look forward to welcoming new team members to Compassion Plus Healthcare and supporting them throughout their journey with the organisation.

I feel fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated and supportive team. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the organisation, and I am proud to be part of Compassion Plus Healthcare’s ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding care.

Teresa

Activities Coordinator and Senior Support worker

Hi, my name is Teresa, and I have been part of the Compassion Plus Healthcare team since 2021. I work as an Activities Coordinator and Senior Care Worker, and I am very passionate about the work I do and the people we support.

A big part of my role is making sure that the people we support are engaged in meaningful activities that they enjoy and that are important to them. I believe activities should be more than simply keeping busy; they should give people opportunities to have fun, develop new skills, build confidence, socialise and be part of their local community.

I enjoy getting to know each person as an individual, understanding their interests and preferences, and finding activities that are meaningful to them. This could be anything from arts and crafts, cooking and social activities to days out and trying new experiences.

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing people happy, enjoying themselves and achieving things that are important to them. I am proud to be part of Compassion Plus Healthcare and to play a role in helping the people we support live active, fulfilling and enjoyable lives.
